Founders of EERC

Mel Graham and Justyn Vogel are the dynamic mother-daughter duo who started their animal advocacy work through Enchantment Equitreks, a horseback riding vaction business that utilizes rescue horses. The heart of their mission has always been about the horses. Starting EERC has given them the opportunity to expand their rescue horse support For more information on these ladies, click on the names below.

  • Founder

It began with a love for racehorses. In 1978 Mel traveled from Florida to Ruidoso, New Mexico, with a lot of racehorses destined for the derby trials. Instantly falling in love with the state, she made it home. Over the past few decades, she has left the track to work for hunter jumper barns, on ranches, and in the rodeo arena. Her love of the racehorse has always prevailed, and now she has found a way to give back to the sport that she hold dear.

  • Founder

Justyn wanted to follow in her mother's boot prints. Growing up in Ruidoso with the racetrack practically in her backyard, her love for horses was innate. She was able to live every little girls dream of owning a pony and becoming a horsewoman. Starting EERC with her mom carries on the legacy of giving back to her horse community.
